HERMES Show- Women's Collection Autumn/Winter 2018/19 in Paris

Artistic Director: Nadège Vanhee-CybulskiLocation: In the grounds of the Victor Duruy High School, a catwalk of red gravel and a transparent tent are erected in the garden. A show presented at night fall, reinforcing this mysterious mood. Collection: leather is almost omnipresent, chic and treated with elegance notably for a coat, an ankle length trouser jumpsuit, or a pencil skirt. Assumed femininity and delicacy for a transparent black blouse in silk-crêpe.Focus on a poncho with Navajo motifs, strips of yellow on a camel base. A checked wool dress is natural sophistication and absolute refinement. A quilted jacket is protective and warming, making reference to the equestrian background of the label. Pink stands sweetly alongside red. The waist is highlighted, the silhouette is soft. To note: thigh-high boots in strong colours, vibrant and mesmerizing with rubber soles. The range of colours is harmonious, surprising and bewitching. A wardrobe that consists of many trenches, outerwear options, overstitched and zipped fur-lined jackets, blanket coats in wool and cashmere, a short duffle-coat and many shorts dresses with metal detailing. Aviator jackets in Nappa leather and dresses with top stitching…Accessories: the studded miniaudiere in alligator, the fringed shawls, the cashmere knitted mittens.Music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information)
