French luxury brand Louis Vuitton has announced that its collaborative collection with Supreme will again go on sale between the 28 and 30 July, at three stores in the Japanese cities of Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka.
Flash sales specialist MySale Group said its “financial performance improved significantly” in the year to June 30 with online revenue up 10% to A$240 million, driven by the growing active customer base.
Boden, the online and catalogue retailer, is making plans to open its first standalone bricks-and-mortar store in London this year. The flagship location will be located at 20-23 Duke of York Square, London.
Muji has just opened its latest store outside of Japan, now beating the number of stores it has in its domestic market. It will focus on growing the number further as it targets SE Asia and plans its Vietnam launch.
Japan’s department stores saw higher sales in June, welcome news after sales fell in May, the sector’s industry body has said. An increase in April too suggests the sector might be on the recovery trail.
It was a golden week online for John Lewis in the period to July 22 but physical stores were also strong. It saw an 8.9% sales increase to £79.8m and online traffic that made it “one of its biggest weeks of the year.”
