British fashion retailer Wolf & Badger will relocate its London stores to open a three-storey flagship store, complete with a book store, café, florist and cold-pressed juice bar, in King’s Cross.

The concept will bring together the brand’s existing London stores into a much larger space at Coal Drops Yard, London’s newest shopping quarter. The 12,000 square feet of space will be used to showcase womenswear, menswear, accessories, jewellery, beauty and homeware from Wolf & Badger’s 700-strong roster of brand partners.

The brand’s creative hub for brand, Wolf & Badger Studios, will also take up residence at Coal Drops Yard, as well as its head office.

This is a major move for the company, which launched its first boutique in Notting Hill in 2010. Conceived as a platform to promote upcoming designers, the retailer curates a selection of undiscovered labels and more established names based on the originality of their design.

The new flagship store will be housed in the former Bagley’s building, redeveloped by Heatherwick Studio as part of a wider regeneration of the area. With the opening coinciding with the launch of Coal Drops Yard in October, the area is set to become a vibrant shopping district with more than 50 stores, restaurants and cafés.

In keeping with the shopping quarter’s diverse offer, the Wolf & Badger flagship store will feature a variety of concessions, including a fashion magazine and book store, a stationery shop and an in-store cold-pressed juice bar from Raw Press. A dedicated events space will be paired with regularly changing retail concepts, and on the top floor, a brand new restaurant will open in partnership with a celebrated chef.

“Great stores are about more than just shopping and we've always wanted to create a space like this to present a dynamic and differentiated experience to our customers.  With this launch, we are curating a destination where art, culture, gastronomy and events can all come together under one roof to complement our signature selection of ethical, unique and unusual products,” said Henry Graham, creative director & co-founder of Wolf & Badger.

Wolf & Badger will join a host of aspirational brands at the new retail destination, including Paul Smith, Tom Dixon, Cubitts, Universal Works and Maya Magal.

It currently has a store in Notting Hill and a second location in SoHo, New York.
