The brand opened a pop-up store there in 2016 after receiving a number of customer requests, and closed the temporary shop on 2 May to move to its new and bigger premises on Spittal Street.

The retail unit is owned by property company Sorbon Estates. Chris Naylor, director of asset management, commented: "Spittal Street has undergone substantial improvement over the past 18 months and we are pleased to have added to the vibrant mix of shops and restaurants with another high-quality offer from an independent retailer.

“Winser are another concept that have proved successful after trialling in the town by entering into a pop-up arrangement with us."

The brand has been selling luxurious women’s clothes at affordable prices since 2013, when it was founded by Kim Winser, a highly respected retail veteran who was the first female Director of Marks & Spencer and held senior roles at Pringle of Scotland and Aquascutum.

The brand operates a total of three stores and its collections are stocked in Harvey Nichols Dublin, Harvey Nichols Edinburgh and Harvey Nichols.com.
