Pringle of Scotland is reintroducing its in-house magazine, The Bulletin, in celebration of its heritage and support of emerging talent, it announced on social media on Monday.

The luxury knitwear brand has uncovered a series of archival issues of its in-house publication as part of the relaunch, including an issue dedicated to the ‘London Fashion Show’ in 1957 – a timely topic as the UK fashion industry prepares for the last day of London Fashion Week.

“The Pringle Bulletin was originally introduced in 1949 as an in-house magazine containing news of recent events and messages from the chairman. It was a lovely, friendly, personal communication that had people at its heart.  Reinterpreting and honouring the Bulletin for this project has been a brilliant journey. Pringle has always told stories, and we are delighted to add new ones by Pringle friends and family from across the industry,” commented Fran Stringer, women’s design director at Pringle.

The project is all about preserving Pringle’s rich heritage as a knitwear brand based in Hawick, Scotland, and its role as a champion of talent. Conceived as a one-off, but with the possibility of becoming an annual publication, this season’s The Bulletin features a photo documentary of the brand’s factory by recent graduate William Scarborough and an editorial featuring archive cashmere among the waterfalls of Wales photographed by Julie Greve.

Fashion photographer Angelo Pennetta captured model Lili Sumner in classic all-knit looks, and a series of images shot by Oliver Hadlee Pearch show a group of British talent wearing archive and contemporary Pringle pieces.
