Nordstrom and Hanes partner to launch extensive t-shirt collection

Nordstrom and Hanes this weekend launched an extensive collaboration collection of t-shirts from close to 40 brands in stores and online.

The collection is an ode to the classic Hanes t-shirt and features graphics and designs by fashion brands such as Nicopanda, A.L.C., Saturdays Surf NYC and Opening Ceremony, globally recognized brands Coca-Cola and Peanuts, and from artists Ashkahn, Alessandra Olanow, and Joanna Avillez.
 
A large selection of the t-shirts feature fun and zany illustrations, which balance out the collection that features numerous iconic characters and celebrities. Peanuts’ Snoopy character appears on a number of t-shirts, as well as the minions from the Despicable Me series, and Authentic Brands Group lent the likenesses of Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, Muhammad Ali and Elvis Presley to Nordstrom and Hanes for the collection.

“Hanes is the ultimate t-shirt company,” said Olivia Kim, Nordstrom's VP of Creative Projects. “It’s been incredible to partner with them on an all-exclusive shop that elevates the t-shirt as an icon, and lets us use their product as a way to explore different expressions from a conglomerate of brands.”
 
The Pop-In@Nordstrom x Hanes collection is available now online and at select Nordstrom stores until September 24.
