G-Star Raw reopens at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet

Published

G-Star Raw opened a new-look store at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet over the weekend just in time for the bank holiday.

G-Star Raw

The store was refurbished to add more environmentally-friendly elements in line with G-Star Raw’s commitment to sustainability. The fit out took three months to complete, and was carried out by UK-based shop-fitting firm Silvaman Group.

“Our new shop fit at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet provides a better shopping experience for local customers with more styles and sizes available than ever before. We’re proud to have worked alongside Silvaman Group to make our initial ideas a reality, and create a shop that reflects our brand perfectly,” Emma McKeever, head of marketing UK and Nordics at G-Star, commented.

The store reopened as part of a new phase of expansion at the McArthurGlen shopping centre, where a 40,000-square-foot extension providing 25 new premium fashion and food brands is due to open later this year.

Jennifer Wilson from McArthurGlen said: “McArthurGlen builds architecturally designed retail environments that elevate the shopping experience for our visitors. We understand that good architecture and design gives a sense of place, and the recent refurbishment of the G-Star store reinforces our offering at Cheshire Oaks, complimenting a £40 million expansion programme that is currently underway at the UK’s first and largest designer outlet.”

The expansion will bring the total number of stores at the centre to over 170. The shopping destination is visited by over 8 million people a year.
