Dover Street Market to open in Los Angeles

Multi-brand luxury boutique Dover Street Market is set to open in Los Angeles this autumn, which will be its second US store.

Dover Street Market has announced via a dedicated website that a store will be opening in Los Angeles “this fall”. No dates have been provided and no address has yet been given but the website, dedicated to the upcoming store, states that updates will be sent through a newsletter. A dedicated Instagram account has also been created.

There are currently five Dover Street Market stores globally. The first store opened in London in 2004. The multi-brand luxury store has moved locations since then and is currently situated at Haymarket.  The other Dover Street Market stores are located in Beijing; Singapore; New York; and Ginza,Tokyo. The Los Angeles store will be the second Dover Street Market in the US and the sixth overall.

Dover Street Market is a luxury concept store created by the fashion designer Rei Kawakubo of the label Comme des Garҫons with her husband Adrian Joffe. The store features an array of brands including Junya Watanabe, Hussein Chalayan, Rick Owens, and Vetements as well as Kawakubo’s Comme des Garҫons label and all of its product lines. The New York and London stores also feature cafes.
