Pass my Parcel, the delivery service that provided thousands of click & collect points for fashion brands including Asos and French Connection, will be discontinued.

Its parent company Connect Group announced the news this Wednesday as a result of “extremely disappointing” group performance this year. It also owns parcels delivery giant Tuffnells and the Parcel Shop network.

"After a careful review of the prospects for Pass My Parcel, the group has decided to close the proposition and wind down its associated network of local retailers. We are currently in discussion with key clients to effect as orderly a withdrawal as possible,” said the company in a statement.

The click & collect service had a trading portfolio of more than 16 retailers, including Asos, Amazon, Surfdome, Blue Inc, All Good Things, and French Connection.

Established in 2014, it offered 3,500 click & collect and return points at independent newsagents and convenience stores across the UK. Customers were sent an SMS or email with their collection code when their parcel arrived at the chosen collection point, and could pick up their parcel anytime from as early as 7am.

Pass my Parcel also processed returns for a number of online retailers.
