Casio on Thursday announced the launch of the first connected watches of its men’s G-Shock G-Steel line.

The G-Steel line received attention in July with the launch of its first-ever collaboration with designer Robert Geller. The line that is designed for the active gentleman trends upward in price and is not widely available.

The new G-Steel connected watch models in silver stainless steel, black resin with silver stainless steel and black resin with black carbon fiber, pair with smartphones through Bluetooth and the G-Shock connected app. While paired, wearers have the ability to use a Phone Finder feature, change time zones, check battery life, and set a time or alarm.

Though G-Steel is launching its first connected watches, Casio has been expanding its connected watch offering. The company in 2016 added the Bluetooth capable EQB-600D-1A2 watch model to its Edifice Collection, and the G-Shock line recently announced the launch of the first-ever Ani-Digi Step Tracker watch for the women's S Series line.

The G-Steel watches will be available at G-Shock stores and Macy’s, beginning in October, and prices will range from $320 to $700.
