Paying homage to the brand’s Italian heritage, the pop-up uses ancient marbles and stones typical of Roman buildings to bring the glamour of Rome to the London airport. The temporary store’s geometric lines and lighted entrance take the concept into the 21st century.

Chris Annetts, retail and service director at Heathrow said: “Bulgari have brought a truly eye catching and exciting design to their pop up space. Bulgari is hugely popular with passengers across the globe so we are really pleased to be able to bring them even more beautiful goods to enhance their shopping experience.”

Roberto Marino, travel retail director of sales and marketing at Bulgari, added, “We are proud to offer travellers a unique experience at the crossroads between past and present. By entering our store, the clients are not only transported through our Roman heritage, but also have the opportunity to discover the best expressions of contemporary and timeless icons : the seductive Serpenti Collection, dating back to ancient Roman mythology or Divas’ Dream, exalting the essence of Italian femininity and inspired by the sophisticated mosaics of ancient Rome.”

The pop-up also features the brand’s newly awarded best Men’s Watch according to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. Measuring just 5.15mm thick, the Octo Finissimo Automatic watch has been dubbed ‘world’s thinness timepiece’.

Bulgari has also a presence at Heathrow's Terminal 2,3 and 4.
