Bally is changing its design team. Owned by Germany's JAB Luxury, the Swiss footwear brand announced in a press release the departure of its creative director, Pablo Coppola.

Pablo Coppola - Bally

Coppola was called to head up Bally in 2014 to help reinterpret the heritage of the house and in breathe new life into its products. The designer, who previously worked for Dior, Tom Ford, and Céline, left Bally in December to "pursue other opportunities."

From now on, the Bally design will be entrusted to a "creative collective," comprised of three design heads -- in charge of footwear, accessories and ready-to-wear, respectively -- and a vice president, Merchandising & Fashion Coordinator.

The latter has been revealed to be Morad Tabrizi, who was promoted to the new role. Tabrizi came to Bally in August 2015 as vice president in charge of fashion merchandising. He had worked previously for Alfred Dunhill and Tom Ford.

The next Bally collection will be unveiled in Milan, on February 23, as part of the women's fashion week schedule. For the first time, the maison will present its women's and men's collections together.
